The five major Hollywood studios can no longer develop in-house enough cost effective quality movies to feed their "distribution pipeline" for theaters, cable, pay-tv, online streaming, VOD, and video/DVD. Seattle Film Group's business is to supply first-rate films to the major studios and engage in co-ventures with the largest independent production companies.
The development company works closely with the marketing departments of the five major U.S. studios and the marketing departments of the top eight foreign territory distributors in developing these movies. This creates a business collaboration that assures each pictures maturing in the global markets over several months preceding its production, and just as important almost guarantees each film the major distribution that is so essential for profitability.

Seattle Film Group LLC is a dedicated group of individual filmmakers and screenwriters in Los Angeles and Seattle with many years of extensive experience in a variety of positions in the motion picture industry. We have come together in a group alliance to create high quality motion pictures that fill a needed niche for the major motion picture studios in Los Angeles.
Our niche is producing audience driven $20,000,000 to $65,000,000 feature films funded by Los Angeles entertainment bank loans, presales, tax credits, rebates, product placement and private equity using A-list directors and A-list stars. The five major Hollywood motion picture studios can no longer produce enough moderate budget high quality motion pictures to fill out their distribution pipeline. The studios are geared toward creating tent pole big budget motion pictures primarily for release during May-June and November-December. We will help fill out the major studios distribution pipeline for the other months of the year.
We are currently forming a film development company through the raising of $9,000,000 from private active accredited investors. This development company, called Seattle Film Development One LLC, will develop several projects of which the best three, or four, will be made into feature films budgeted between $20,000,000 to $65,000,000 dollars and distributed through the five major motion picture studios.
Initially, we are producing three, or four, motion pictures. We will concentrate on developing films from the action, adventure, comedy, science-fiction, fantasy, and musical genres.
Once funding is complete for the development company, within two to three years from the time each picture is fully developed and funded the motion pictures will be released in theaters across North America and throughout the rest of the world. Afterwards, the films will be distributed in the ancillary markets such as VOD, video/DVD, online streaming, pay-tv, satellite, etc.,
By the end of the second year, Seattle Film Development Two LLC will be created. If they desire, the original active accredited investors in the first development company will have the first option to invest in this new development company. If they do not invest, other active accredited investors will be found for this second development company which will create four, or five feature films in the $20,000,000 to $65,000,000 budget range. These will also be in the action, adventure, comedy, science-fiction, fantasy, and musical genres using A-list directors and A-list stars. These motion pictures will be released within two to three years of forming Seattle Film Development Two LLC.

Mr. Ladas graduated from Seattle University with a B.A. in English and later studied filmmaking at Bellevue Community College under Oscar award winning Producer/Director Stanley Kramer prior to embarking on his own film career. He has been a Location Manager/Scout for twelve years working as a team member on a variety of commercials, TV shows, and motion pictures here in Washington State. He was a twelve-year member of The Washington Film & Video Association (WFVA) where he served two years as a board member including one year as treasurer. For three years he was the seminar coordinator for the WFVA where he created and presented seminars on various motion picture topics taught by film professionals from Los Angeles and Seattle.
Formerly, Vice-President of Production for Warner Bros., 1992-2002, Lynn served as Executive on over thirty major feature films including The Perfect Storm; You've Got Mail; Analyze This; Batman and Robin; Contact; Twister; Mars Attacks; Space Jam; The Fugitive; and the Little Princess. She began her film career in 1975 as a Director Guild trainee. She worked her way up through the ranks as a 2nd. A.D., 1st. A.D., UPM, and Line Producer. As an Assistant Director, she worked on Grease, The Gauntlet, and When a Stranger Calls among other features and television shows. She became a production manager in 1980 doing television for Aaron Spelling Productions. Lynn has served as Line Producer/Production Manager for The Mighty Ducks; (Disney); Curly Sue; (WB). Unit Production Manager on Funny About Love; (Paramount); Men Don't Leave; (WB); 3'0 Clock High; (Universal). TV: UPM and/or Line Producer on many pilots and Movie of the Weeks plus over 100 one-hour series episodes. She has also taught college level film production.
Writer, script consultant, producer, and director, who has been active in the Seattle film and video community for 30 years, and in Hollywood before that. Three of his fifteen feature screenplays have been optioned. Bill organized and ran the Washington Film & Video Association’s Writer’s Group for ten years, and served four years on the Board of the WFVA. He has worked on numerous films of every shape and size, including studio features, independent features, documentaries, shorts, commercials and music videos. He is the winner of the Seattle Advertising Federation Best Film award for a documentary he wrote and co-produced, and has a B.A. from the Motion Picture & Television Department at UCLA.
Born and raised in New York City, Warren has written for the Viacom family of cable stations. As a writer, actor and/or director he has staged over forty stage productions. He formerly curated 1 Reel Film Festival (at Bumbershoot in Seattle) the nation’s best-attended celebration of short films. From 1997-2000, he worked for Cinema Seattle producers and organizers of the Seattle International Film Festival. Warren also teaches classes in screenwriting, directing, and film analysis. He is the founder of The Warren Report, a Film Arts organization devoted to educating and empowering viewers. The Warren Report stages three year-round film series in Seattle: FILM RAP, SHOOTING SCRIPTS, and DISTINGUISHING FEATURES.
Born and raised in Seattle, he worked through the 80’s and early 90’s in Hollywood writing screenplays for Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Columbia, Warner Brothers, MGM, and Disney’s Touchstone Pictures. He has written articles for Details, The New York Sunday Times Magazine, Movieline, and other publications. He has also published four novels, "The King of Methlehem", “Sad Movies”, “Carnival Desires”, and “Never Mind Nirvana”.
A Hollywood screenwriter living in Austin, Texas. Her past writing contributions include The Lady Killers starring Tom Hanks and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen released in February 2004. She is the author of New Screenwriters Survival Guide (publish date December 2012). Dubbed the “Red Hot Adams” by Daily Variety she has worked with Hollywood Pictures, Touchstone Pictures, Universal Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, and Tri-Star Pictures on myriad projects. She is a recipient of a Nicholl Fellowship in screenwriting from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences and winner of an Austin Heart of Film Screenwriting Award.
Writing both individually and as a team, Marc and Elaine Zicree have over 90 dramatic television credits to their name, including episodes of Star Trek - The Next Generation, Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Forever Knight, Beauty and the Beast, Twilight Zone, and Sliders.
Marc has served on staff on four series: most recently, as a producer on Sliders; as Co-Producer on Lazarus Man (on which he and Elaine co-wrote multiple episodes); Executive Story Editor on Beyond Reality; and Story Editor on Friday the 13th - The Series. Beyond this, he and Elaine have written seven pilots on assignment, including two for NBC and one each for ABC and Showtime. Their screenplay work has included stints for New Line, MGM, Orion, the Jim Henson Company, Davis Entertainment and Chanticleer. Elaine's plays have been produced Off-Broadway and L.A.
Additionally, Marc was a commentator for three years on NPR's Morning Edition and is also well known as the author of the best seller The Twilight Zone Companion, which was nominated for the American Book Award. One of the country's leading experts on media, he appeared on dozens of radio and TV shows, including American Masters, All Things Considered, A & E's Biography, Entertainment Tonight, E! The True Hollywood Story and The Today Show.
In 2013 Marc Zicree published with Academy award winning director Guillermo del Toro, Cabinet of Curiosities: My Notebooks, Collections, and Other Obsessions. Also, in 2018 Marc Zicree released the 3rd updated edition of The Twilight Zone Companion. He is also the creator of Space Command a new science fiction tv series that is currently being promoted for distribution
